Safety Management System
Clarkson Freightlines has recently developed an in house Safety Mangement System (SMS) to ensure we are continually meeting and exceeding the Occupational Health and Safety requirements of both our customers and WA regulations.
WA Main Roads HVAS
Clarkson Freightlines holds Main Roads Western Australia Heavy Vehicle Accreditation.
To maintain this accreditation, we must manage and apply our own in house Fatigue Management System and Equipment Maintenance System to ensure we have policies and procedures in place to complete the work safely and efficiently.
Vehicle Satellite Tracking
All Clarkson Freightlines vehicles are fitted with the latest satellite tracking technology and messaging screens by Navman Wireless. This system allows us to monitor the location of our fleet in real time; identify any areas to improve our transport efficiency and also promotes better communication between our drivers and office staff.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods
The transportation of Dangerous Goods freight comes with some inherent dangers. Due to their hazardous nature, Dangerous Goods are regulated by legislation, standards and codes of practice. Clarkson Freightlines is committed to complying with all legal obligations. Accordingly, to ensure we are able to meet our legal obligations, there are additional requirements applicable to the cartage of Dangerous Goods freight.
Bulk Dangerous Goods Licencing
We have Dangerous Goods licenced drivers and suitably equipped trailers to transport a range of bulk and packaged dangerous goods.
We have in place an emergency response contract with Toxfree Australia.
Our Transport Emergency Response Plan is practised and reviewed yearly to ensure its relevancy.
All our vehicles are equipped with spill kits and safety equipment to meet the legislative requirements of Australian Dangerous Goods Act for Road and Rail - ADG7.3
